2022 GMC Yukon

The 2022 GMC Yukon is available in four trim packages, including the SLE, SLT, AT4, and Denali. Standard exterior features include automatic LED headlights, daytime running lights, fog lamps, acoustic laminated glass, side rails, rain-sensing windshield wipers, an intermittent rear wiper, assist steps, and heated exterior mirrors. A panoramic moonroof and power-retractable running boards are also available.

Several exciting paint finishes are available for Yukon owners. Exterior paint options include Onyx Black, Summit White, Pearl Beige, Midnight Blue, Satin Steel, Cayenne Red, Redwood, and White Frost.

The SLE, SLT, and AT4 are equipped with a 355-horsepower, 5.3-liter V-8 capable of producing 383 pound-feet of torque. The Denali has a 420-horsepower, 6.2-liter V-8 engine that produces a whopping 460 pound-feet of torque. The SLE, SLT, and Denali are also available with a 277-horsepower, 3.0-liter Duramax turbo-diesel engine. All engines include dynamic fuel management and are paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission.

The SLE, SLT, and Denali are rear-wheel drive, with available four-wheel drive. The AT4 is only available with four-wheel drive.

The 2022 Yukon has a maximum payload of 2,144 pounds. Properly equipped, the SLE and SLT trims can tow a maximum of 8,100 pounds. The AT4 and Denali have a maximum towing capacity of 8,200 pounds. Trailer sway control and hitch guidance are standard on all models. If you do a lot of towing, consider adding the optional ProGrade Trailering System. ProGrade makes hitching up and towing a trailer easier than ever, thanks to its trailer brake controller, trailer side blind-zone alert, and smart trailer integration indicator.

Other standard performance features include hill-start assist, traction control, stability control, and cruise control. The Denali also has hill descent control and adaptive cruise control.

Every Yukon includes cloth upholstery, power windows and locks, and a 10-way adjustable driver's seat. The SLT, AT4, and Denali also have heated and ventilated front seats, heated second-row seats, and a heated steering wheel. With all seats occupied, the Yukon provides 25.5 cubic feet of storage space. Cargo space increases to 72.6 cubic feet behind the second row and 122.9 cubic feet behind the first row. The second and third rows are 60/40 split-folding benches, allowing you to personalize the cabin to suit your needs.

Infotainment amenities abound in the 2022 Yukon. Every trim has a 10.2-inch touch-screen display, Bluetooth streaming audio, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Google, OnStar, GMC Connected Services, and voice-activated texting and calls. The top-of-the-line Denali also boasts a 15-inch head-up display and a premium, 14-speaker Bose audio system. Available infotainment features include a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hot spot and onboard navigation.

Standard safety features include advanced air bags, an HD rearview camera, LATCH anchors and tethers, Buckle to Drive, a rear-seat reminder, and the Teen Driver System. Standard driver-assist features include automatic emergency braking, forward collision alert, front pedestrian braking, front/rear parking assist, lane change alert, rear cross-traffic alert, blind-spot monitoring, and lane-keeping assist.
