2022 GMC Acadia

The 2022 GMC Acadia is available in four trims, including the SLE, SLT, AT4, and Denali. All trims feature LED headlights, automatic headlights, LED fog lights, a shark-fin antenna, deep-tinted glass, front and rear intermittent wipers, and heated outside mirrors with integrated turn signals. The SLT, AT4, and Denali also have a hands-free, programmable power liftgate. Even with an armload of packages, you can easily open the liftgate by waving your foot under the GMC logo. The available Acadia Elevation Edition package features a black grille, mirror caps, roof rails, and wheels.

The 2022 Acadia is available in several modern paint colors. Exterior color options include Summit White, Ebony Twilight, Light Stone, White Frost, and Hunter Metallic.

The SLE and SLT trims have a 228-horsepower, 2.0-liter turbo I-4 engine. The AT4 and Denali trims are powered by a 310-horsepower, 3.6-liter V-6 engine. Both engines are paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. The SLE, SLT, and Denali are rear-wheel drive, with available four-wheel drive. The AT4 is four-wheel drive only. Traction selection is standard on all, with options including normal, snow, sport, off-road, and trailer/tow. Four-wheel antilock brakes and a fully independent suspension are standard.

Acadia trims with a 2.0-liter engine have a maximum towing capacity of 3,300 pounds when properly equipped. The maximum towing capacity for trims with a 3.6-liter engine is 4,000 pounds. Every Acadia has automatic stop/start technology to improve fuel efficiency. The 2.0-liter engine boasts an EPA-rated fuel efficiency of 22 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway. The 3.6-liter engine has a fuel efficiency of 19 mpg in the city and 27 mpg on the highway. All trims include electronic stability control, traction control, and cruise control.

The Acadia offers three rows of comfortable seating for six. All trims include power windows and locks, rear climate controls, a tri-zone automatic climate control system, and an active noise cancellation system. The SLT, AT4, and Denali also have an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and heated front seats. The top-of-the-line Denali features ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, and a head-up display. The Acadia offers 12.8 cubic feet of cargo space, with all seats occupied. Storage space increases to 41.6 cubic feet behind the second row and 79 cubic feet behind the front row.

Infotainment features abound on every Acadia. Standard features include Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Amazon Alexa, GMC Connected Access, satellite radio, a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hot spot, USB ports, and an 8-inch touchscreen display. The SLT, AT4, and Denali also include onboard navigation and a premium Bose eight-speaker audio system.

Standard safety features include advanced air bags, an HD rearview camera, keyless open/start, LATCH anchors and tethers, and rear child security door locks. Driver-assist features include automatic emergency braking, a following distance indicator, forward collision alert, front and rear park assist, lane-change alert, blind-zone monitoring, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, rear cross-traffic alert, and a rear-seat reminder.
