2022 Buick Envision

The 2022 Envision is available in three trim packages: Preferred, Essence, and Avenir. Standard exterior features include aluminum wheels, automatic LED headlights, daytime running lights, heated mirrors, silver roof rails, and intermittent rear wipers. The Essence and Avenir also boast a hands-free programmable liftgate. A panoramic sunroof is available on all trims.

The 2022 Envision is available in several exciting paint colors. Exterior paint options include Summit White, Rich Garnet, Sapphire, Ebony Twilight, Cinnabar, Burnished Bronze, and Satin Steel.

The standard engine across the lineup is a 228-horsepower, 2.0-liter turbo I-4 capable of producing 258 pound-feet of torque. The engine is paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. Engine stop/start is included to improve fuel efficiency.

Standard features include four-wheel anti-lock brakes, electronic grade braking, cruise control, and power steering. The MacPherson strut front and five-link rear suspension provide a smooth, comfortable ride. All trims are front-wheel drive, with available all-wheel drive. Front-wheel Envision trims boast an EPA-rated fuel efficiency of 24 mpg in the city and 31 mpg on the highway. If you choose an all-wheel-drive model, the fuel economy is 22 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway.

The Envision provides comfortable seating for five. Standard comfort features include a rear window defogger, automatic climate control, front bucket seats, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, ambient lighting, microfilter technology, power doors, and power locks. Buick's standard QuietTuning System with Active Noise Cancellation blocks road and engine noise to create a quiet, relaxing cabin. The Essence also has heated front seats and a heated steering wheel. The Avenir boasts heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, and a heated steering wheel.

The Envision provides 25.2 cubic feet of cargo space with all seats in use. The 40/60 split-folding rear bench allows you to carry long or irregularly shaped items with ease. With the rear bench folded flat, cargo space increases to a maximum of 52.7 cubic feet.

Standard infotainment amenities include 12-volt power outlets (one in the cargo area), Buick Connected Access, a large touch-screen display, USB ports, OnStar, satellite radio, Bluetooth audio streaming, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. The top-of-the-line Avenir also boasts a premium Bose nine-speaker audio system, onboard navigation, HD radio, a head-up display, and wireless charging.

Standard safety features include a suite of advanced air bags, LATCH anchors and tethers in the second row, the Teen Driver System, and the Buckle to Drive System. Every Envision is also equipped with the Buick Driver Confidence System. The Driver Confidence system includes many driver-assist features, such as automatic emergency braking, front pedestrian braking, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, forward collision alert, following distance indicator, and Intellibeam automatic high-beam assist. In addition, the Preferred and Essence trims offer an HD rear vision camera, while the Avenir has an HD surround-view camera.
